Typical 1N-2D FRH Itinerary
Day 01: Arrive at  Corbett Park, Ramnagar
Arrival at Corbett. Board your waiting gypsy and start your journey inside the jungle of Corbett. Reach your forest rest house passing through the dense Sal forests and grasslands inhabiting a wide range of wildlife at Corbett. Lunch at the rest house. In the evening go for a jeep safari around the booked zone of Corbett. Dinner and overnight stay at rest house.

Day 02: Early morning start for morning jeep safari in the Corbett. After breakfast move out of the jungle. On the way visit Crocodile Point and High Bank. Drop at Ramnagar. Depart with sweet memories of the tour of Corbett.

Dhikala Zone Forest Rest Houses
There are 4 forest lodges at Corbett Dhikala Zone which provide accommodation facilities to the visitors through the operational seasons.

Only Dhikala Lodge has a fixed electricity line. Electricity in all the other rest houses are provided by solar panels.
Restaurant / Canteen – Dhikala and Gairal lodges offer canteen with buffet meals. Other lodges provide kitchen facility with room attendants.
Location – All the lodges in dhikala zone have excellent location and offers a wonderful view of forests and provide a rich and unique experience.
Safety – All the rest houses except sultan are covered with solar wire fencing to keep away the animals entering the forest lodges

Dhikala FRH:

Dhikala Forest Lodge has 25 rooms & 2 dormitory with 12 beds in each dormitory. 25 rooms are further divided into 5 categories. Old Forest Rest House – 5 rooms, New Forest Rest House – 4 rooms, Annexe – 7 rooms, Hutment – 6 rooms and Cabin – 3 rooms

Gairal FRH:

Gairal Forest Lodge has 6 rooms & 1 dormitory of 8 beds. The 6 rooms are further divided into 2 categories. Old Forest Rest House & New Forest Rest House. Old Forest Rest House – 2 rooms and New Forest Rest House – 4 rooms

Sarapduli FRH:

Has 2 standard rooms & 1 dormitory of 3 beds. Due to the proximity to the river in front, the movement of tigers & elephants are more at Sarapduli forest lodge. For bird watchers & to see crocodiles, Sarapduli forest lodge is the best place.

Sultan FRH:

Sultan FRH has 2 standard rooms. Sultan forest lodge is the first lodge you will come across, when you drive from Dhangari gate to Dhikala Lodge.

Bijrani Zone Forest Rest Houses
Bijrani zone:

The area in and around Bijrani once formed part of a shooting block. During the British period it was much famed for the quality of game hunting that it offered to shikaris. In comparison to Dhikala, the terrain at Bijrani is drier and also has more diverse vegetation. Bijrani tourist zone in Corbett is the first choice among day tourists. Its entrance is at Aamdanda which is about 1 km. away from Ramnagar. After entering through Aamdanda gate, you cross about 5 km. of buffer zone before reaching Bijrani and the jungle safari starts from this point.
Bijrani is a beautiful spot and is known for its vast grasslands, deep forest, stormy drains and wildlife. To visit this area, permission is granted by the Director, Corbett.
Maximum 30 vehicles are allowed to travel into Bijrani during morning and same number of vehicles is allowed in the evening hours. For morning safari advance booking is required and for evening safari, permits are given on first come first serve basis..
Bijrani has a forest lodge which has six rooms and a dormitory consisting of four beds. You can also take an elephant safari here..
Visitor Season: 15 October to 30 June.

Chaurs (Grass Lands)

The chaurs (Grass land) near Bijrani namely Machaan Chaur, Badhai Chaur, Ringora Chaur etc. adds to the attraction of forests.

Food & Other Services:

The compound has its own restaurant and canteen, where buffet meals are served with a variety of good quality food at affordable price.

Malani:

This rest house lies 12 km due northwest of Bijrani. Located on the edge of the core zone of the Park, Malani has offers one of the most picturesque surroundings and solitude. The drive up to Malani is quite rewarding in mammal and bird sightings.
